There is currently an opportunity for a
dynamic nurse leader for the position of Director of the NICU at this leading
children’s hospital that is the preferred provider of quality children’s health
care services in the region. This
hospital provides the staff, facilities and technology that address the unique
demands of childhood health care, and they have attained the highest
designation of Neonatal Intensive Care.
The Director of the 56 bed NICU at this
leading children’s hospital will use their management skills and experience to direct
the neonatal critical care unit that provides comprehensive care for sick
neonates and their families. They will
be a member of the team of highly trained professionals who treat approximately
700 babies each year. Some have been born
very prematurely while others may suffer from severe heart, lung or intestinal
conditions that require the use of highly sophisticated therapies. The Director will have responsibility for 186
full time employees of the department.

Qualifications:
Director experience with a large Level III or IV NICU; 3-5 years of management experience in a visible role with demonstrated ability to engage physicians and staff.
