Become a member of the team at this leading children’s hospital that has been recognized for providing excellent pediatric health care.  As the Director of Transplant Services, you will coordinate Heart, Liver, Kidney and BMT transplant activities while working with this leading health care network dedicated to caring for kids.  This hospital has been named one of the top ten children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, Parent’s Magazine and Child Magazine, and it has achieved Magnet status for nursing excellence.  A career at this leading children’s hospital will be challenging, stimulating and offer many opportunities for you achieve your goals. 

The Director of Transplant Services reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital with matrixed accountability to multiple hospital VPs and senior physician leaders.  Responsibilities include strategic and operational leadership, including marketing and business development, contracting, philanthropic activities and clinical management to include the best patient outcomes.  Budgeting, regulatory compliance, financial and human resources allocation are also included.  This is a 40 hour per week position, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MHA or MBA or related graduate degree strongly preferred; previous academic medical center and transplant experience preferred with five years of experience in a complex health care environment; minimum of three years of leadership experience; strong business acumen required; team development and change management experience required; excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.
