Title: Pediatric Physician Assistant, Neurology

This is a great opportunity at a leading children\'s academic hospital in the Southwestern U.S. for a Pediatric Physician Assistant in Neurology, responsible for providing direct care for pediatric patients in the neurology inpatient services setting. The PA in Neurology will manage (in collaboration with the attending) the entire inpatient course. Duties of this PA in Neurology include obtaining admission histories, performing physical examinations, ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, creating plans of care and the day-to-day management of the neurology patient. Managing these complex patients requires collaboration with department physicians and other members of the health care team to ensure the highest quality of neurological care is provided.

Qualifications:
Master\'s level graduate of an educational program for physician assistants accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health educational programs, required; recognition as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in the State of Texas, required; current CPR/BLS and PALS certifications, required; previous pediatric neurology critical care experience, preferred.
